Karbon Economics is a student-run, peer-reviewed journal. We welcome original, well-researched papers that explore how economic forces shape our world—from the climate crisis and carbon markets to inequality, trade, and development.
Whether you’re analyzing policy, modeling real-world systems, or connecting economics to global challenges, we invite you to contribute to a growing platform of student-led insight and impact.
All submissions are reviewed by a team of trained student editors and academic mentors for originality, clarity, and relevance to climate and global macroeconomic issues.

1. Peer Review Philosophy
  • Karbon Economics follows a student-driven peer review model. Submissions are reviewed by members of our editorial team — high school students with experience in economics research and writing — and supported by a network of academic mentors.

Our goal is to maintain high standards while nurturing the voices of emerging thinkers. We review each paper for clarity, originality, and real-world relevance, and provide all accepted authors with optional revision suggestions before publication.
